In the beginning was the void and the void was upon the face of man.
And man stared into the void and saw darkness, and grew to fear the darkness.
Man said let there be light, and learned to build fire and worship sun.
There was evening, and morning.
Man looked into the fire and saw himself and began to wonder if the fire was living.
Man spoke to the fire, and the fire spoke back.
Man found comfort in this warmth and in the warmth of one another,
Man developed sounds to communicate with one another.
Man found there was comfort in the reflections of the waters which covered the face of the deep, and
Man created God in his own image.
When man looked to the skies and saw light, he also spoke to them,
And they did reply.
These are the gods.
These are the angels,
Bringing messages of comfort to man.
