Active Versus Passive Self Understanding

Self understanding is: the right to know who you are. But, did you know that self knowledge, and knowing yourself are two separate things?

What is active self understanding? In terms of self knowledge, it's incoming self analyzation. This means that you're not observing yourself, you're understanding self observation. This could mean you're focused on one aspect of yourself, or it could also mean you're focused on multiple. the idea is that you're observing who you relate to, as that self aspect.

What is passive self understanding? In terms of knowledge of yourself, it's outgoing self analysis. This means that you're observing yourself, and not engaged in self observation. Which means in kind, that everything that you are focused on, is happening to a you that seems separated from the aspects of self that holds your attention or attentiveness in any given moment.

Active self observation, requires an understanding of the role required of your consciousness. Whereas passive self observation, requires that you do not engage in conscious activity. In this way, self knowledge and knowing yourself becomes the incoming or outgoing transfer of energy through your field of perception, be it mentally, physically or through any other sense.

Self understanding, goes deeper than self observation. In fact, it's one octave beyond the basic conditions for yourself, another self and other selves to be distinguishable by their frequency of purpose through living motion. In fact, all gnosis data held in living stasis fields, requires self characteristics to be dissolved completely, before you're able to sense objective truth.

We often tend to do this in part throughout moments of our daily task lists, throughout the day. However spending prolonged periods of time in this state, is what's referred to as living gnosis meditation, or sometimes, guided or focused meditation without self movement, just awareness.

This requires your thoughts to not be blank, but not be unreachable from a state of blankness either. It is temporary and must alternate between various thought perceptions as information moves through you, as if you're standing in the middle of multiple river streams of flowing moving substance. Like water, accept without a current.

Directionless movement is what this is known as, and it is the part of self passivity that is known as the static haze filter on thought perception. the polar opposite to this, is clarity of self becoming, which requires exact directions in one-dimensional space, to execute a plan in linear capacity.

Through passivity, we decompress activity. through activity, we compress passivity. This is how we perceive things, and it is also how we align things or co-align ourselves to other things different self aspects materialize, or engage through us to reach us by in turn. Harmonic understanding of how best to fit in with passive activity, or active passivity, requires aligning self aspirations, but not aspects with your goals of focus, as opposed to your focused goals. Which is precisely how you build relationships, as opposed to tearing them down by your presence alone.

Being ware of how absent you are in the places you're attempting to reach with your entire state of focus at first reaching a still point, before transcending into another frame of perception will take time. But it is possible to use active and passive states of self understanding simultaneously to be able to achieve a much higher state of concentration throughout anything you do in your life in both a spiritual, and material manner.

  • how long can it take normally, if one practices?

    • That's a good question.

Active self understanding will almost always come more naturally as you just start out meditating until you consistently notice which chakra points you are most directly interacting with. Then once you figure out passive self understanding, you can directly target the chakras you need to use as you meditate.

Afterwards, you can alternate between which ever chakra you wish to specifically target passive versus active self understanding as you wish.

What I like to do, is use my crown chakra for active alternating fields between self and other self understanding methods. It is usually done in pairs, so if my third eye is focused on something outward, my crown is focused on something inward.

I don't like to do a double channel accept when I'm zooming out or in on which ever chakra I'm getting data from, as that can quickly overwhelm you if you need to move quickly or hold stillness for prolonged periods of focus. As in, a couple hours or more.

Which is what I tend to do passively, when I pick up channeled messages through filters of perception tied to multiple levels or layers or states of self awareness through a chakra bridge gate between the ones open through me, and ones open through other selves in connection to the ones active within me even if it's just in part.

Gnosis information or gnostic data, requires complete passive self understanding for the longest period of time...in a channeling. I believe it's not meditating on a belief, but allowing belief to become the meditation. The open vision, with a single purpose. To not focus, and yet still record in the subconscious mind what is around you as you use any other chakra to sense be it matters of the day or something else, perceptual portals of understanding into living presence. And this can take anywhere from a couple years to a couple decades.

The rest can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for active understanding, or a few months for passive. That's how it was for me. Each person is different. I've met people whose chakras could not open beyond a certtain level because they couldn't quiet their mind through the stream of data flowing through it.

For that to be most effective, it requires you to imagine yourself drifting off into a state of self awareness that imagination carries in part, as you dream yourself into a place far from ego, but close to a most ideal dream in the moment of now that surrounds you. Then you shape it accordingly, as the meditation evolves from imagination, into self awareness until you let your thoughts travel to which ever that dream becomes instinctively. It's known as lucid day dreaming but it provides a better guide than just drifting off to sleep can.

  • I have heard of lucid day dreaming but didn't realize that was what you were speaking of..

Thanks so much for clarifying for me,always appreciated.

    • You're welcome. Glad to help.
