The Measurement of Time
Time is explained in linear terms but understood in circular logic.
What has not been cannot be and what is cannot be again.
What is to come must have come before, and what is to remain must be that which comes after.
Cause before effect and effect after cause, time within time.
Willing it or it willing, time without time.
Look, hearing the whispers of yesterday.
Hear, seeing the blinks of tomorrow.
Thinking about thoughts that thought about thinking.
Living in the reality I know, reading about the world I knew.
Writing about the readings of time, read about the writings of time.
I tell you, as I told you, and I will tell you again.
What remains was not that which came after, what is to come must not have come before.
What is can be again, what has been will be.
